The recruitment has been notified under Advertisement Notification No. 09 of 2026, dated September 1, covering vacancies under UT, divisional and district cadres.
According to the notification, eligible candidates can apply online from October 5, while the last date for submission of applications is November 3.
Applicants must be domiciles of Jammu and Kashmir and should possess a valid J&K Domicile Certificate by the last date for submitting applications.
The upper age limit has been prescribed at 40 years for candidates under the Open Merit category and generally 43 years for reserved category candidates, subject to applicable relaxations under government rules.
Educational qualifications vary depending on the post. For Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and Class-IV posts, candidates are required to have qualifications ranging from matriculation to 10+2.
For Sanitation Worker posts, the minimum qualification ranges from Class 8 pass to 10+2, depending on the specific position.
