Eligibility Criteria

1. Residency (Most Important):

• The candidate must be a Domicile of UT of J&K.

• The candidate must be a resident of the specific Electoral Ward where the Anganwadi Centre (AWC) is located.

• Proof: Voter List of the ward or a Residence Certificate issued by the concerned SDM.

2. Educational Qualification:

• Anganwadi Worker: Minimum 10+2 (12th Pass) is usually preferred.

• Anganwadi Helper: Minimum Matriculation (10th Pass).

  • Note: If no Matriculate candidate is available in the Ward, candidates with an 8th Pass qualification may be considered.
